1. Eldorado Springs Pool (30 miles):

Established in 1905, this pool is fed by natural mineral springs, maintaining a comfortable 60-80°F temperature. This is a heated pool and not a natural hot spring.
Perfect for families, it has varying depths and safe areas for children.
Definitely pack your own lunch because their snack options are pretty limited. And if you’re going on a weekend in summer, try to get there early (like before noon).

I suggest to bring a full-size towel, as the provided ones may not suffice. If you hate crowds as much as I do, come on a Tuesday afternoon instead of weekend evenings when it feels like half of Denver is there!

Mount Princeton Hot Springs features natural hot springs pools along the banks of the Arkansas River.
The resort offers several pools, including a relaxing upper pool and a more adventurous lower pool with a waterslide.
Try to hit the pool early before the crowds. If you prefer private time, they have cabins for rent. Try the spa after that; you will thank me later.

Glenwood Springs Pool is one of the largest hot springs pools in the world, featuring a massive pool filled with warm, mineral-rich water.
A smaller therapy pool and kiddie pool are also available.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs features multiple heated pools and ponds of varying temperatures. The cost is $20 per person. My favorite spot was the cold stream.
The pools are made of natural stone and surrounded by trees, so you feel completely immersed in nature. Just FYI for families with kids – after dark it becomes clothing-optional and adults-only, so plan your visit timing accordingly!

If you can swing a visit in late September or early May, DO IT! We went in early October, and it was magical – the summer crowds were gone, but the weather was still lovely.

The hot springs pool offers a large and welcoming space with various temperature sections, perfect for a relaxing soak with spectacular mountain views.
There are four different hot pool areas and a snack bar. The pools are spacious, with one area designated for adults.
