I drive through Frisco, Colorado, multiple times during every skiing season. It is centrally located between Breckenridge, Silverthorne, and Vail.
If you pass through the Eisenhower Tunnel heading west, it is a great spot to dine, rest, and have fun. Let’s explore my top ten best attractions.

If you’re interested in learning about the town’s history, the Frisco Museum is the place to go. You can explore the town’s historical buildings, including the schoolhouse, jail, and the Niemoth Cabin.
Also, the park hosts a special event every year to showcase what the town has to offer, including treasures from the old days.

Just imagine being in a place where you are surrounded by ski resorts. From Frisco Adventure Park to Breckenridge to Copper Mountain, your options are endless. Whatever your ski level, there is a place for you.

One of my favorite activities is tubing. For an adrenaline rush, head to the tubing slopes at Frisco Adventure Park, where you’ll find multiple lanes for a thrilling ride. It’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy some fun together.
The park even has a magic carpet that takes you back up the hill, so you can save your energy for the slopes. Afterward, relax with some hot chocolate and snacks to wrap up your adventure.

5. Dine and Sip Along Main Street
After a long day of hiking, biking, skiing, or sightseeing, head over to Frisco’s Main Street. You’ll find a range of dining options, from casual spots to fine dining establishments.
If you’re looking for a recommendation, I’d definitely suggest Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe. They’re famous for their breakfast menu, and I highly recommend trying the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup—it’s my all-time favorite.

6. Hiking Havens
Imagine walking through lush forests, across alpine meadows, and alongside sparkling streams, all while being surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains.
Trails like the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area offer not just hiking, but also opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching.

The town hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year, each offering a unique blend of activities and entertainment.
One of the highlights is the Frisco BBQ Challenge, a summer festival that brings together BBQ enthusiasts and live music.

In the winter, the Frisco Gold Rush festival celebrates the town’s rich history with Nordic skiing events and other winter activities.
