Events & Festivals

Civic Center hosts many of Denver's biggest events: Taste of Colorado, A Taste of Greece, Cinco de Mayo, and numerous other cultural festivals. The Civic Center EATS farmers market runs on summer Tuesdays.

The Architecture

The park's Beaux-Arts design connects the neoclassical Colorado State Capitol to the Denver City and County Building. The McNichols Building (former Carnegie Library) and the Denver Art Museum flank the space.

Things to See

Greek Amphitheater: Hosts concerts and events. The Voorhies Memorial gateway frames views of the mountains.

Seal Pond: The Broncho Buster sculpture and fountain are Denver landmarks.

Pro Tip: The park is best experienced during an event. Check Denver's event calendars for festival dates, or visit on a Tuesday in summer for the farmers market and food trucks.
