The Park

Whitewater Park: Watch kayakers surf the standing wave. Beginners play in summer; experts handle high water in spring.

REI: The flagship store sits right on the park. Rent bikes, kayaks, or paddleboards. Outdoor gear shopping when you need it.

Sitting Area: Terraced seating provides great spots to watch the river action and the passing cyclists and runners.

Pro Tip: Take the light rail to Union Station, walk to Confluence, and start your ride from here. Parking downtown is expensive - public transit is the way.
