Why This Trail

Wildlife: Prairie dogs, coyotes, raptors, and waterfowl. The wetland areas attract birds year-round.

Less Crowded: While Cherry Creek is packed on weekends, Sand Creek is peaceful. You can actually ride without dodging pedestrians.
