LoDo Denver

Lower Downtown: Denver's Historic Heart

Denver's Original Neighborhood

LoDo—short for Lower Downtown—is where Denver began. This 23-block historic district features over 100 Victorian-era warehouses now housing some of the city's best restaurants, rooftop bars, and nightlife. It's walkable, energetic, and the beating heart of downtown Denver.

The neighborhood stretches from Union Station to Coors Field, anchored by the iconic Larimer Square. Former warehouses that once stored mining equipment now house craft breweries and upscale restaurants. It's history meeting modernity in the best possible way.

Game days bring crowds to Coors Field for Rockies baseball, but LoDo thrives year-round. Weekend nights pack the rooftop bars, Sunday brunches spill onto patios, and the free 16th Street Mall shuttle connects everything. Whether you want craft cocktails, live music, or late-night tacos, LoDo delivers.
